Inspiration struck when a tattered old poem was uncovered in the bottom of an old chest, given to him by his father when he was about 13 years of age. The poem is advice from a father to his son on how to be a man. It is about humility, honour, risk and reward. The poem called 'IF' by Rudyard Kipling reads '... if you can meet with Triumph and Disaster and treat those two imposters just the same', the deal was done and the brand Triumph & Disaster was born.
Through a process of trial and error, founder Dion Nash developed and evolved the idea on what men need in their grooming products. Working with a great team of chemists and a world class perfumer, his brand was developed for men who want clean, healthy, vibrant skin; men who want a close, clean shave and men who want to feel great about their grooming routine.
