Deeply rooted in the love of craftsmanship, quality and tranquility, Ro is a Danish design company dedicated to creating pieces that allow us to find beauty in simplicity and marvel at everyday moments.
As lovers of pieces that have the ability to improve an individual's emotional state, we're excited to welcome Ro's selection of beautiful vessels and vases into the Curious Grace collection.

Established in 2013, Ro was founded by Rebecca Uth who aims to create objects that serve a functional purpose that appeal to our aesthetic sense, while simultaneously providing a long lasting perspective.
In her role as artistic director, Rebecca works closely with selected designers to curate a holistic and innovative collection that focuses on the artistic process and objects that become more beautiful with time.
“The human being is the focal point of everything I do", says Rebecca. "I want to seduce, wonder and change people through objects.
"To me, design must relate to the body and soul and must be felt, tasted and seen – sometimes unexplained and on an inaccessible level, sometimes just an everyday wonder.”
All Ro’s glassware are handblown pieces. Crystal clear glass and coloured glass are melted together before the glassmaker blows the melted glass into a mould. This process creates unique and completely individual pieces, giving each one its own story and imparting a different presence on its surroundings.
Colours are inspired from those found in Denmark; the clear blue sea, the amber and grey stones from the coast, and purple from the heathlands.
Crystal clear and coloured glass come together in the Flower vase which is handblown in heavy glass with classic craftsman principles.
The vases are handmade and have individual air bubbles and variations in colours and transparency. The Flower vase has a strong and robust form, contrasting with the fading tint at the bottom that hides the flower water and lets the stems emerge gradually.
Hurricane Vase and Tealights
Ro's Hurricane pieces take their inspiration from the antique kerosene lamps, where a tall cylinder of glass spreads the light and protects the flame from the surroundings.
Depending on which colour is chosen, the variations of coloured glass create a different atmosphere; light and simple in the crystal clear glass, warm and cosy with amber or classic ambience in smoked grey.
The tealights contain a spacious inner compartment allowing the candle to burn with a steady flame, regardless if it is placed indoor or outside. The Hurricane vases are the perfect vessel for long-stemmed flowers and branches, but are just as beautiful filled with utensils, or used simply as a sculptural piece.
Ro allows us to put aside the often chaotic whirlwind of our modern lives, and live in the moment. Realising that simply being present in the 'now' is one of life's most beautiful gifts.
