30 Years of Celebrating Unity Through Art

1 min read

This month marks the 30th year of the destruction of the Berlin Wall. There's always been a fascination with 'the wall'. As a child it was a turning point of something I was yet to realise. Even today I cannot fathom its true significance. So I create my own interpretation in personal reflection.

The transformation of historical Berlin to new is testimony to the artist. Architecture and Interior Design. Urban graffiti artists and buskers. There's always a place to discover the joy of creativity.

The Berlin Wall itself is a sprawling concrete canvas. Where once was demarcation, now is integration. As a symbol itself, the Berlin Wall offers reflection on the ability of humankind to realise each other.

And even if to simply enjoy the talent and breadth of its artists. The Wall is something to be experienced firsthand.
